Word of Love Christian Church was birthed in 1988 from a family bible study that moved from a home to the streets in outreach to lost souls to our present location in Fairburn, Georgia.  Our founder, visionary and senior Pastor, Phil A. Williamson was ordained in 1991.

 

Through many wonderful - no matter how challenging - experiences with both God and man we are still HERE! God has blessed us time and time again. He has challenged us through His direction, protection and presence. He has established obedience to Him in our lives through both His love and correction. We had the zeal from the beginning, and God connected us to “Faith”. We have learned through obedience that works without faith is “DEAD."

 

In 2000 Betty was ordained as Minister, and in 2006 as Co-Pastor to her husband. They continue to follow the leading and guiding of the Holy Spirit and witness through the power of God lives changed for the kingdom of God. God continues to reveal His will to the church and as we are obedient to follow, many doors have opened for the message of salvation to be shared. One door that has opened and we have launched out is the mission field both locally and abroad. We are involved in a local feeding and clothing mission effort and now have launched out overseas to connect and shared the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

 

God has added to the church and will continue to add to and prosper us in the decisions of His will. We walk in love and lift up the name of Jesus. We joyfully continue to follow in the first directive God gave to Pastor Phil, “teach others as I teach you."
