Prayer. We often hear and may even say ourselves how prayer changes things. But first, we must understand and confess, “Prayer changes me!” Jesus said in John 14:6 that, “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” So why do we keep trying to imagine all the things in our lives differently without getting the True vision of who God is for us? We must believe that there’s a greater potential inside of us than the world’s ways of worry, stress and strife, outside of us.
Jesus had a disciplined prayer life and God desires the same for us as we follow Him. He was resurrected for you and I. For prayer to change things, prayer must first change us from within. We must put God first in our decisions and choices. Instead of complaining and worrying, we must put some feet to our prayers. Put the work in, press in with "Kingdom-sized” prayers from the Word of God
Justice doesn’t come without judgement. There are some who think that it doesn’t take all that prayer and such, but there is a consequence to avoiding prayer to change us from within: we’ll be robbed of what we have and what God is waiting to provide. When we drag, are slothful, unfaithful, the potential inside of us cannot be fulfilled. God doesn’t embrace pride. Don’t compete; be complete in God, by being humble under the hand of God. Praise Him and do the Word!
We must repent, cast our cares, renew our minds, and give Him the first fruit of our lives by doing the things He says to do. Give Him honor due His name! Praise more. Pray more. Sow more. Serve more. Our Spirit, our lives will be blessed by Him more. 1 Cor. 2:9 But as it is written, "Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.
Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law (read Gal. 3). We are already redeemed! God completed His creative work. God finished, ended, blessed and redeemed, so that we may have life and experience His Kingdom Truth as we follow Christ and serve Him MORE.
